BUDS HELM WEEK
Brotherhood·Unity·Discipline·Service
Seven days. Six nights. Fifteen.
Fall 2027 — position undisclosed.
Everything until now was about your business. This week is about what fifteen builders owe each other — and the world. Not a product. Not a company. An ecosystem.
Two things are non-negotiable here: truth, and the death of ego. Bring the first. Be ready to lose the second.
You don't attend BUDS. You survive it. And when it's done — this is the part we can't explain, only promise — they become brothers.
The economics
The price is not set. Expect it north of $50,000.
Know this: none of it is revenue. Every dollar goes into the week — the place, the crew, the experience. The fifteen help plan what they will live through.
We are not selling seats. We are building something we intend to stand inside of.
BUDS is not easy. It is designed to take you to your limit and then past it — where purpose gets identified, ego gets challenged, and barriers you've carried for years get broken. And — this matters — it will be fun. The kind you're still telling at eighty.
The course to the roster
Six waypoints. Fifteen berths.
Serve at a Commander event
Required. The Commissioning or The Deployment — we select from the room, not the internet.
The application
Three questions, answered on camera. One take.
The interview
A real conversation with Bill and Grant.
The gatherings
Two or three meet-ups — a city, a night, sometimes twenty-four hours. The crew starts forming before the week does.
The roster
Fifteen names. No alternates announced.
Fall 2027
Position disclosed to the roster alone.
The application
Three questions. On camera. One take.
We don't need polish — typed answers belong to machines now. We need you. Ninety seconds per answer; one retake if you want it.
Fifteen berths. One week. Brothers after.
